Pen box in American Walnut and Ash.

 This box is traditionally made in two contrasting timbers. American Black Walnut and English Ash. The box has a single dovetail on the sides and the lid is hinged on a brass rod which will allow natural movement of the wood. The interior of the box has been left natural with the exception of the pen holders , which is lined with Moire to protect the pen and it has an additional groove for spare cartriges. The box is opened with a single turned dowel on the front and the bottom is a solid piece of American Black Walnut and then finished with natural bees wax.
