Classic Gentleman's Fountain Pen in Spalted Elm Burr with Rhodium and 22k Gold detailing

 Elm Burr (Ulmus procera)  The Burrs are taken from a growth seen on the outside of the tree where branches have not formed properly. As a result, the grain forms in swirls and curls.  The spalting is caused by a natural fungal attack whilst the tree is drying . All wood has been stabilised before being turned into pens .
