Celtic Knot Platinum Fountain pen in reclaimed Mahogany and Maple

 This is truelly a 'one of a kind ' collectors pen. The pen is made from reclaimed Mahogany ( originally part of a Victorian desk that had fallen into poor repair and was intended for the tip) and inlaid with solid Maple veneers. The block is cut on the band saw and the Maple veneers are laid into the cut timber and then glued together . This cut is done twice on all four faces and then the pen is turned on my lathe. It is unusual to find other pen makers making these pens as each pen takes alot of time to make.
